The nearly one hundred Breckenridge vacation rentals in Main Street Station offer the full service experience you expect from a resort, and are conveniently located only a short distance from the base of Peak 9. Choose from a number of excellent options for shopping and dining, art galleries, jewelers and more. To relax after a long day, be sure to take advantage of Simply Massage, the on site massage therapy location. In the winter, skate on Maggie Pond, and check out markets, concerts, and other events in the summer.
In the Historical District, which is Colorado’s largest, you’ll experience elegant Victorian charm and easy access to downtown Breckenridge. The Historical District extends several blocks both east and west of Main Street, making access to the shops, entertainment, and dining establishments easy. You can ski into many locations, or take a short shuttle ride or walk to reach the lifts. For the things you love about a mountain town, this is the neighborhood to choose. Two hundred private homes, townhouses, condos and hotel rooms mean that you have plenty of different options to pick from.
For those who prefer easy access to the mountain, the Tyra/Snowflake neighborhood is an excellent choice. The majority of properties are sixty yards or less from the base of Snowflake Lift, which takes you right to the base of Peak 8. The Four O’Clock ski run will take you back down the hill with no need for a shuttle. Three blocks from downtown Breckenridge, this neighborhood isn’t too inconvenient for shopping and other attractions, either. A complimentary guest shuttle is available for those who don’t want to walk, and convenient ski rentals are available in the Tyra Stream Building. There are about a hundred and twenty units in this location close to the slopes.

My family and I are planning a vacation to Breckenridge. We will arrive Sept. 9th and will be staying five nights. There are six people in the group. I have found a large home on “Home Away” web site south of town for $800 plus a $200 cleaning fee. It has excelent views. However, we would like to be closer to the Breckenridge resort and Dillion Lake. If you have an owner with a nice property and good veiws and the same price closer to town, please let me know.
